Meet Jake
1 Light Creations Founder Jake Young lives at the vital intersection of practical craftsmanship and cosmic truth. As the founder of 1 Light Creations, a general contractor, artisan carpenter, and former professional chef, he has spent a lifetime mastering the art of transformation—whether shaping lumber into homes, raw ingredients into nourishing meals, or the self into a vessel for the Divine.
Raised on a small dairy farm in Maine, Jake’s life has always been rooted in the land, balancing dynamic movement with deep stillness. Whether mountain biking, embracing the sacred gift of fatherhood, or walking the path of fire as a shamanic healer and Reiki Master, he is a dedicated student and conduit of the Universe’s subtle energies.
Through 1 Light Creations, Jake brings his life’s work to fruition, introducing Blue Star Yoga as his signature practice and transmission. Deeply rooted in Hindu mythology and the mystic truth of our shared oneness, this offering uses intentional yoga asana, meditation, and the sacred vibration of chanting to bridge the physical and the Divine. Through these cosmic tools, Jake invites others to stoke their inner fire, tune into the subtle currents of the Universe, and remember that we are all threads in the same continuous song.
Meet Helena
Helena joins One Light to bring life to songs.
In her work as a singer and sound healer, she creates soundscapes, songs, workshops and trainings to promote healing and spiritual connection. As a transformational singer, sound healer and vibrational teacher, she activates her evocative voice, angelic harmonies and other instruments such as guitar, piano, wooden flute, harmonium, tuning forks and singing bowls.
Like Jake, Helena asks big questions about the nature of existence and how to generate peaceful, powerful and co-creative living. Bridging science and spirit, she loves to bring together luminous sound, intellectual exploration and intuitive inspiration.
Helena has toured the US and Canada with music, and holds a degree in music from Monmouth College, as well as training in Sound Healing, Reiki, Yoga Nidra and ThetaHealing®. She founded the online Live Lighter Sound Sangha and co-founded the chant music group Shanti Kirtan. She creates SOULfeggio Sound Immersions and workshops focused upon mantra, sound healing, epigenetics and quantum potential.
